John Sturman will facilitate the Q&A and address Google Developers Groups opportunities at 7pm, and we will network and make new & purposeful connections. We suggest that you watch the Google I/O keynote (quick summary here - ) about the rest of their products as a precursor to our watching of the developer keynote. We will watch the developer keynote and have a discussion about the ways we individually can leverage these enhancements for our education and development progress. The special guest speaker, an award-winning hi-tech entrepreneur, writer, and teacher Emma Butin will give a lecture Open AI - The Google vs Microsoft battle, covering the latest evolution in AI, a brief history, where are we now, and what are we expected to experience - explained simply. We will see what's next for the Chat GPT, and discuss the AI limitations. This year AI is the big news, and we will see the many ways that Google has incorporated AI into their developer products. With the mission to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful, Google is paving the road of innovations and open-source community development. This will be available in Google's newest version of its mobile OS, Android 12.Join us on Tuesday 5/23 at 6:00 for a dive into the latest developer releases from Google. Google is in collaboration with giant automaker BMW to build a digital car key that lets the owners lock, unlock and start their cars from their Android smartphones. They made serious changes in their auto-white balances and rendering algorithms to produce an accurate result of people's color and hair in photos. Google has been making advancements in image processing and lately, they announced that their new camera in Android will be very able to capture and render dark skin tones and natural hair. Google is advancing image processingĬameras tend to capture light-colored skin very much and have issues when capturing dark skins. This announcement followed after Google's acquisition of Fitbit, a wearables leader that dominated fitness bands. Also, it will host other healthcare apps that track health stuff like a heartbeat, mind relaxation, etc. ![]() Wear OS, Google OS for its smartwatches has announced that it will have more health apps. We will cover all of them in the below sections. There were major topics and announcements that brought mind-blowing enhancements and new techs being launched new Android 12 look, AI integrations, 3D tech and so much more. The Google IO 2021 is one of the biggest so far in its history. The event is ended with an afterparty and performances by some music group. These speakers are assigned topics (either keynotes, highlights, new features, or announcements) they would talk about. The keynoteĮach Google I/O event has a line of speakers selected by a special Google team. This is where major Google products were first shown to the world Android, Flutter, App engine, Maps API, Chrome, Firebase, etc. Like we already said, this Google I/O event is where major announcements, surprises, and highlights on Google products and services are laid to bear. Then it was held in Shoreline Amphitheater for 4 years from 2016 to 2019, this Shoreline Amphitheater is an open door theatre based in Mountain View California. Moscone Convention Center, in San Francisco, California, this event was held in this place for 7 years starting from its inception year 2008 to 2015. The Google IO event began in May 2008, and it was held in Moscone Center. Also, the event lasts for 3 days maximum. ![]() The event didn't hold last year, 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Google IO event is an annual conference, and it is usually done around May, June each year. It is hosted by the tech giant Google, and this event is aimed at bringing us up-to-date to the new tech that is emerging in the Google space and super-enhancements that have been applied to already existing Google techs.
